Support Donation and Grantmaking Processes:
- Assist senior management in evaluating donation requests and executing grantmaking functions
- This includes conducting research, analyzing issues, preparing reports and findings, and maintaining records for the organization's leadership review
Develop Grantmaking Plans and Documentation:
- Help create grantmaking plans, outlining tasks, deliverables, schedules, and required resources
- Maintain a centralized repository of documentation for audit purposes, such as funding proposals, agreements, progress reports, and project publications
Conduct Research and Provide Strategic Insights:
- Undertake research on social issues and new initiatives to support the development of new projects or strategies
- Activities may include literature reviews, industry/sector data analysis, internal/external surveys and focus groups, and discussions with potential partners
Monitor Approved Projects:
- Assist in overseeing the implementation and completion of approved projects according to schedule, pledged outputs, and original scope/budget
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in statistical, financial, and progress reporting
- Assess and document project change requests for internal approval
Support Grantee Engagement and Communications:
- Review event invitations from grantees as part of project monitoring
- Draft articles and speeches for publicity events
- Collaborate on public relations and media initiatives
Facilitate Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with external partners (e.g., applicants, grantees, consultants) and internal counterparts (e.g., finance, procurement, IT) throughout the project lifecycle
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health, education or related disciplines
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to NGOs, Government, policy research, or public and social service settings
- Knowledge in analytic skills, proactive in idea creation and passionate in charity related topics
- Excellent English and Chinese communication and writing skills
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
